Calendar Artwork

I've posted below the artwork that will be appearing on your child's Room 7 Calendar this year.

The pictures are in the style of James Rizzi who is the late, famous artist most commonly known as "that guy who draws buildings with faces'.

Gardening Crew Update #2

Lately our Year 4 gardening crew have been working over the road in the Y7-8 garden, under the watchful eye of Ms Coton (Y7-8 teacher). They have been working on a large landscaping project and making some excellent progress.

Well done girls!

Room 7's gardening crew

I have so impressed by Shannyn and her group of helpers- Mia, Samantha and Rachel. Last week and this they have cleaned out all the winter growth in the Year 3-4 Garden and prepared the garden for new spring plants. What impressed me most was that they have done this through their own motivation to make a difference, without any prompting from myself or other teachers.

Well done girls, you are showing how students at Muritai School, no matter how young, are making a difference to our school and contributing towards us being a 'green-gold' enviro-school.

Follow each of the tabs, then read, visualise and think about those topics.

Finally, answer these questions in your reading book.

1. How were the Greek Gods different to mortals?

2. Describe Zeus' family

3. What happened at Greek temples?

4. Where did dead Greeks go?
